WhatsApp Lists: How to Organize Your Chats on Android and iPhone

WhatsApp has introduced Lists, a new feature designed to help users keep their chats organized and easier to manage. Users can create up to 20 custom lists, allowing them to group conversations based on their needs, such as "New Orders" or "New Customers."

To create a new list, open the Chats tab and swipe down to access the Lists section. Tap the Add (+) button, enter a name for the list, and select the chats or groups you want to include. At least one chat must be added when creating a list, although chats can be added or removed later.

Users can also add or remove chats from a list by pressing and holding a conversation and selecting the Add to List option. Existing lists can be edited to change their names, add more chats, or remove conversations that are no longer needed.

If a list is no longer required, it can be deleted through the Lists section. However, preset lists can be restored later from the settings menu.

WhatsApp also allows users to reorder lists for easier access. All lists can be managed from the Chats tab or through the Settings menu, with slight differences in navigation between Android and iPhone devices.

The Lists feature is aimed at helping users organize conversations more efficiently and quickly access important chats when needed.
