Bakrid Holiday: Chennai Metro to Run Trains on Sunday Schedule Tomorrow

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced that metro train services in Chennai will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday due to the Bakrid government holiday. The special Chennai Metro Bakrid schedule has been introduced to help passengers travel smoothly during the festive occasion.

According to CMRL, Chennai Metro train services will be available from 5 am to 11 pm across all metro corridors. During peak hours between 8 am and 11 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm, trains will run every six minutes.

From 5 am to 8 am, 11 am to 5 pm, and 8 pm to 10 pm, Chennai Metro trains will operate with a seven-minute frequency. Between 10 pm and 11 pm, metro services will run every 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, CMRL also informed that its helpline numbers faced a temporary technical issue on Wednesday, which was resolved within a few hours. Passengers can contact Chennai Metro customer care at 8604251515 and Women Helpline at 155370 for assistance.
