Tamil Nadu Weather Update: Rain Likely in Western Ghats Districts on March 28 and 29
The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall in the Western Ghats districts of Tamil Nadu on March 28 and 29, bringing possible relief from the rising heat across the state.
According to officials, favourable atmospheric conditions are expected to trigger rainfall in districts such as Coimbatore, the Nilgiris, and nearby hilly areas. These regions are likely to experience showers at a few places during this period.
Meanwhile, most other parts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai and coastal districts, are expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures are likely to stay above normal levels in several areas until March 26, after which a slight dip is expected due to the rainfall activity.
The forecasted rain is seen as a welcome change, especially for interior districts facing increasing temperatures. Residents in the western and hill regions have been advised to stay updated with weather alerts.
