Fuel Supply Stable in Tamil Nadu, No Need for Panic Buying: Oil Companies
Amid concerns about fuel availability, oil companies have clarified that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, and supplies remain stable across all regions.
According to the State Coordinator of oil companies, adequate stock of petrol and diesel is available at fuel stations, ensuring uninterrupted supply for the public. Authorities have urged people not to engage in panic buying or unnecessary hoarding, as there is no disruption in distribution.
Fuel Availability Status
- Petrol and diesel are available in sufficient quantities at all fuel outlets
- Continuous supply is being maintained across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

LPG Supply Update
Officials also confirmed that domestic LPG cylinder supply remains uninterrupted, with the waiting period reduced to less than five days.
In addition, Auto LPG supply is being ensured without any interruption, with extra monitoring in place to maintain smooth distribution.
