CM announces free servicing for bikes and auto rickshaws
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J.Jayalalitha has announced that a special camp will be set up for repairing all two wheelers and autos that got affected in the recent flood in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Cuddalore districts.

Chennai Meteorological Centre: prospects of heavy rains in coastal & delta districts
An official from Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that the low pressure zone formed over the bay of Bengal has now stabilised over the ocean near Kanyakumari. Hence, it has been raining for the last 24 hours.

If Ration card damaged no issue to get flood relief
Flood relief to get the public on their ration card, bank pass book to the display. If ration card and bank passbook damage or lost in rain water, they give only information to staff, the Chennai district collector said.
