Amma Ilaignar Vilayattu Thittam Scheme

On 13 January 2020, Tamil Nadu government has launched TN Amma Ilaignar Vilayattu Thittam Scheme.This TN Amma Ilaignar Vilayattu Thittam Scheme motto is to create and develop leadership skills and promote unity amongst the youth. This scheme is launched in 12,524 village panchayats and 528 town panchayats across the TN state. The state govt. of Tamilnadu will implement the scheme with an outlay of Rs. 76.24 crore. Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami inaugurated the "Amma Ilaignar Vilayattu Thittam" via video conferencing from the Secretariat. The scheme was inaugurated at the Kiloy village council ground in Sriperumbudur. Throughout the event, CM Palaniswami additionally launched the brand of the Amma Youth Sports theme 2020. CM Palaniswami additionally inaugurated a hostel in Trichy that was created at a price of Rs 96 lakh. The state govt. can implement scheme during a section wise manner with first priority is to create national level sports club in rural areas. In the end after the infrastructure development takes place, a committee would be setup to search out to find local talents planning to be trained at these facilities. Youths would later be trained to participated in numerous tournaments at village, district and state level.
