Lok Sabha Elections 2014 Poll Results
The Election Commission has mentioned that the Lok Sabha election results will be out by 4 pm on 16 May.The counting of votes will start at 8 am, first by taking the postal ballots.

Re-poll postponed to May 10
The Chief Electoral Officer, Praveen Kumar, on Wednesday said the re-polling that had been ordered in a booth each in Namakkal and Salem constituencies on May 8 has now been deferred to May 10.

Election results to be delayed on counting day
Election Commission has planned to give copies of the results after every round of counting to agents/candidates and because of this the announcement of results of the general elections is likely to be delayed on May 16.

First round Election results will be known by 9.00 AM on 16th May - Chief Election Officer Praveen Kumar
Counting of votes will commence at 8.00 AM at the 42 Centres in Tamil Nadu. Every room will have 14 tables where counting will be done. First round results will be out by 9.00 AM.
