It has been ordered that online retailers dealing with food products or its business will have register under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 with the food regulator Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

Election in 5 states: Rs. 60000 Crores in circulation
The Reserve Bank of India Governor, Mr. Raghuram Rajan commented that the circulation of money in the 5 states where general assembly elections are scheduled is expected to be around Rs. 60000 Crores.

RBI: Prices of food items will be up after the 7th Wage Commission
The Reserve Bank of India has estimated that if the recommendations of 7th Wages Commission are implemented, inflation will increase by 1 percent to 1.5 percent.

National Savings Certificate/ Kisan Vikas Patra certificate on electronic - mode (e-mode)
The Finance Ministry said that it has decided that the currently existing system of physical pre-printed certificates for KVP and NSC shall stand discontinued w.e.f April 1, 2016.

Central Government Order: No cash deposits in ATMs after 8 PM
Following the frequent theft of money meant to be deposited taken from the vehicles, the central government has come with the decision and in order to prevent this that no cash transactions should be taken after 8.00 PM.
