Petrol price was increased by Rs. 2.19 per litre & diesel rate hiked by 98 paise per litre
The revised rates will take effect from the midnight of Monday and Tuesday,
Rates will differ from state to state due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates. In Chennai petrol price will cost Rs 61.32 per litre & diesel will cost Rs 50.09 per litre
