Chennai airport to levy Rs 150 development fee

Air travellers from Chennai using the new airport terminal will have to pay a development charge of Rs 150 from April 1. Airport Authority officials indicate that operations at the new terminal may start from March 20.

Police nab ganja smugglers

Madhavaram bus terminus on hold

The lookout for a new bus terminus to ease the traffic at Koyambedu goes on as the Madhavaram proposal has been put in the back seat for now. The CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority) had identified two areas one in Velachery and one in Madhavaram to build new bus termini.
