Effects of heavy rains in Tamil Nadu
Heavy rain continued unabated lashing Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu inundating several low-lying areas. As per the reports of a weatherman, the deep depression on the Bay of Bengal that caused widespread rain in the state since Sunday morning will not intensify into a cyclonic storm.
