Chennai may have water scarcity
Puzhal lake is one of the important reservoir which supplies water to Chennai City. The reservoir�s capacity is 3300 million cubic feet.The lake was filled to the brim because of heavy rains during the last year. Now because of the scorching heat, the water level is drastically coming down.

No service tax for credit or debit card, or net banking usage

Rs 102.11 crore collected in e-Service centres in Chennai
An official release from Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation mentions: Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation had been operating 486 e-Service Centres across the State. The general public can apply for documents like income certificates, community certificates.

24 police inspectors of the Greater Chennai Police Department have been transferred. Transfers are ordered for administrative conveniences, disciplinary reasons and requests. Greater Chennai Police Commissioner has ordered the transfer for these 24 police inspectors.
