Free SMS scheme from AIR

The All India radio has launched a new scheme of free short message services in order to provide instant news updates to the subscribers. This was launched by the information and broadcasting Manish Tewari who also made the launch of the Bharat Nirman online portal.
This online portal service was launched before 6 months and it received extraordinary response. Further to this, the service is expanded, said Tewari. He also added that the total number of subscriptions is expected to reach 5 lakh which is currently just 2 lakh.
