New policies for internet and email usage

As a step to secure all communications through email, the government has planned to derive an exclusive policy in the next two months. With this, the government employees are expected to communicate only through government mail ids.
According to the secretary of the department of electronics and information technology – Mr J Satyanarayana, the draft is kept ready and is waiting for the approval from the ministry. In addition to this, the government is also aiming to prepare an internet usage policy that will help in regulating the proper usage of the internet by the government employees.
