Vodafone launches Rs 1,999 plan

Here comes a new plan from Vodafone at Rs 1,999. In this plan, it offers 1.5GB of daily data limit, unlimited voice calling, free SMS of up to 100 numbers with validity of 365 days. This new plan is being launched following the recent launch of Rs 1,699 plan for prepaid subscribers. Vodafone’s Rs 1,999 initiative is to stay is to cope with the similar plans that are launched by Airtel and Reliance Jio. To start with, the Rs 1,999 plan is being available only in Kerala circle. Soon, in the following days, the plan will be made available at the other circles as well.
The plan
This Rs 1,999 plan from Vodafone offers the following
· 1.5GB of 3G or 4G data counting to 547.5GB which is higher than Rs 1,699 recharge offerings by 182.5GB
· Package validity of 365 days
· Unlimited local, STD and roaming call facilities
· 100 daily free SMS
As aforementioned, the Rs 1,999 plan is made available only in the Kerala circle to start with. Vodafone India website has officially put up details about this plan.
Similar plans by other telecom providers
There is Rs 1,999 plan by BSNL telecom as well. It is available since June 2018. The plan offers daily data limit of 2GB with validity of 365 days.
Likewise, there is Rs 1,699 plan from Reliance Jio where daily data benefit of 1.5GB is provided and this competes with that of Vodafone’s Rs 1,699 plan that also comes with 365 days validity, and offering unlimited voice calling and free Jio app access.
