The medical check-up fees for the job aspirants who leave for Kuwait has been increased by 30%. This is effective from July.
Until this increase, persons seeking in job in Kuwait had to pay Rs. 8550 including the medical check-up fees.
With the latest announcements made by Kuwait embassies in Mumbai & Delhi, the persons intending to leave for Kuwait for jobs will now have to pay Rs. 12000/- as medical fees.
The medical check-up fees will NOT be refunded for those who get disqualified during medical check-up.
The announcement also informs that the medical check-ups has to be done only in one establishment - Khadamat Integrated Cellular Private Limited.
Another sore point to note is that this establishment is available only in the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, and Cochin. Thus. It will be a hardship for people from other states including Tamil Nadu.
A statistics figure reveals that around 2000 to 50000 persons from Tamil Nadu seek jobs in Kuwait every year.
