NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), the entrance examination for pursuing courses in Architecture, is scheduled to be conducted twice a year from the next academic year.
In this regard, the Chairman of All India Architectural Council, Vijay Garg, informed that in order to pursue the 5-years graduate course in Architecture, it is mandatory for the candidates to write and pass in NATA.
Until now, NATA was conducted once a year. However, from the next academic year 2019-20, it will be conducted twice a year.
The candidates who secured a minimum of 50% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in +2 are eligible to write NATA. The test NATA will be of 3 hours duration including ‘Aptitude’ and ‘Drawing’.
