Air India Express Student Offer: 10% Flight Discount and 25 Kg Baggage Allowance

Air India Express has announced a special holiday airfare offer for students aged above 12 years, allowing eligible school and college students to travel on domestic flights at discounted fares during the upcoming holiday period.

Under the special offer, students can avail themselves of a 10% discount on domestic flight fares. The offer and additional baggage benefit will be available for travel until October 20, 2026.

10% Discount on Domestic Airfares

Students aged above 12 years can book eligible domestic flights operated by Air India Express through the airline`s website, mobile app and authorised booking agents.

The special student fare has been introduced ahead of the holiday period, which includes breaks around quarterly examinations, Gandhi Jayanti and Ayudha Puja.

The offer is applicable to Air India Express flights and is not available o Air India flights.

Students Can Carry Up to 25 Kg Baggage

One of the key benefits of the offer is the additional baggage allowance.

Students can carry their regular 15 kg baggage allowance plus an additional 10 kg, allowing them to travel with a total of 25 kg of baggage under the special scheme.

Student ID Required at the Airport

Eligible passengers must meet certain conditions to use the special fare. Students must be above 12 years of age and carry a valid photo identity card issued by a recognised educational institution.

The student ID should include the passenger`s name and date of birth. The document may be checked at the airport during the check-in process.

Students are therefore advised to carry their original valid student identity card when travelling under the special fare.

Offer Valid Until October 20

The special student airfare and additional baggage benefit will remain available until October 20, 2026, subject to the airline`s applicable terms and conditions.
