Formation of a new low pressure along the Bay of Bengal now!!
An important announcement has come out now from the meteorological department.
It has been revealed that a new low pressure has been formed along the Bay of Bengal now. Point to be noted is that due to the atmospheric circulation over south Odisha- north Andhra coast yesterday on 11th September a new low pressure was formed over the midwest and adjacent north-west Bay of Bengal coasts of north Andhra- south Odisha at 8:30 am on 12/9/2025.
The low pressure is likely to move in the west northerly direction and would cross south Odisha and adjacent north Andhra coast in the next 2 days. Over the south Indian regions, an atmospheric air circulation is prevailing. As a result, light to moderate rains are likely to occur in one or two places in TN, Puducherry and Karaikal regions. At speeds of 30kmph to 40kmph, strong winds are likely to blow along with lightning and thunder. In Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram, Cuddalore and Puducherry, heavy rains are likely to occur.
