CM Vijay to Visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple at 4 PM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai on September 28, 2026, during his visit to the city. Reports said he is expected to reach the temple around 4 PM and participate in the evening worship.

After launching the Thaimaman Gold Ring Scheme at Government Rajaji Hospital and inaugurating the renovated Gandhi Memorial Museum, the Chief Minister is scheduled to proceed to the temple.

According to the reported arrangements, Vijay will enter the temple through the eastern entrance. He is also expected to visit important areas of the temple complex, including the Potramarai Kulam, Meenakshi Amman and Sundareswarar sanctums, Veera Vasantharayar Mandapam and Thousand Pillar Hall.

The Meenakshi Amman Temple recently completed its Maha Kumbabhishekam on September 17, 2026, after a gap of 17 years.

The reported temple visit is part of the Chief Minister`s Madurai schedule on September 28. Security arrangements have been strengthened around the temple and along the routes ahead of his visit.
