UGC NET Exam Results Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NET examination twice a year across various cities in the country. The exam is held for candidates seeking eligibility for Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges, admission to Ph.D. programmes and the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) offered by the Central Government.

The first NET examination of this year was conducted from June 22 to 30, followed by a re-examination on July 6.

The examination was conducted for a total of 87 subjects. Due to certain reasons, the examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology were cancelled and re-examinations were announced.

The NTA has now officially announced the results for the remaining 84 subjects.

Candidates appearing for the re-examinations in English, Commerce and Sociology may see an error message when they enter their application number and password on the result website. The NTA has advised candidates not to panic about this.
