Grand Golu Exhibition Featuring 4,000 Dolls to Begin in Kolathur

A grand Golu exhibition featuring 4,000 dolls will begin on October 11, 2026, at the Navaratri Temple on 36th Street in GKM Colony, Kolathur, Chennai. The exhibition is organised annually to mark the Navaratri and Vijayadashami festival season.

This year`s exhibition features detailed displays depicting several Hindu mythological stories. One of the main attractions shows Lord Ganesha circumambulating Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to receive a mango, while Lord Murugan leaves in anger after witnessing the event.

Another display depicts Lord Ganesha and Lord Murugan performing abhishekam to Lord Shiva. The scenes have been designed to portray these spiritual events in a realistic manner.

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 11 to October 20, 2026, between 8 AM and 10 PM daily.

The event is being organised by the RR Spiritual Trust, coordinated by T.R. Gunasekar, T.R. Velumani and L. Gajendran. Punniyakoti Madurai Muthuswamy will inaugurate the exhibition by hoisting the flag at 9 AM on October 11.
