Bajaj Finserv Backs Young Swimming Talent Dhinidhi Desinghu

Bajaj Finserv has expanded its sports investment programme by signing 16-year-old Indian swimmer Dhinidhi Desinghu, the youngest member of India’s contingent at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The company has identified swimming, tennis, badminton and running as key focus areas and plans long-term investments in athlete development, scouting and broader sporting infrastructure.

Dhinidhi, who began swimming at the age of six, has made rapid progress under coach Nihar Ameen. She won 11 medals, including nine golds, at the 2025 National Games and currently holds Indian national records in the 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle.

Bajaj Finserv said its initiative aims to identify promising athletes at an early stage and provide sustained support to help them compete at the international level.
