Low-pressure zone formed - prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu
A low-pressure format has developed over the northwest part of Bay of Bengal. The Weather Bureau has informed that due to this low-pressure zone, there are prospects of widespread rains in Tamil Nadu.

Relief from heavy rains in Kerala, light spells to continue
Rains over Kerala have reduced drastically which was predicted by Skymet Weather. In fact, most parts of the state remained mainly dry.

Prospects of heavy rains in coastal districts
Because of the cyclonic formation in the upper layers of the atmosphere developed over the Bay of Bengal, it rained in several places. It rained in a few places in the northern districts as well.
