Chief Minister lays the foundation stone for Tambaram-Vandalur Rail overbridge
A railway overbridge is to be built between Tambaram and Vandalur. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy laid the foundation stone for this on Friday (1st November).

Stringent action for taking crackers in trains!
The passengers must not carry crackers on the train. If violating, stringent action will be immediately taken as per Railway Act 164.

Southern railway: cancelation of electric trains due to maintenance work
The electric train at 9.20 am today (15th October), 16th and 17th October from Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Arakonam to Chennai Beach is canceled in the section Guduvanchery - Arakonam due to maintenance work.
