Chief Minister Jayalalithaa announces ready to cook and ready to eat sea food
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the Assembly on Wednesday announced creation of a kitchen at Kasimedu that would prepare ready to cook and ready to eat sea food. Apart from this addition Modern Mobile Restaurants would be set up at Chennai.

Free bus tickets were distributed to senior citizens in 42 places. On 16th February Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa announced free bus travel for senior citizens in Chennai metropolitan area from her 68th birthday on February 24.

The price of tomato comes down to Rs.3 per kg
As more quantities of vegetables arrive from other states in the Chennai wholesale vegetable market at Koyambedu, there has been a steep fall in the prices of vegetables. Especially, the price of tomato has gone down drastically and it is sold at Rs.3/- per kg.

Patrol cycles give helping hands to the cops
Patrol cycles were distributed for Chennai police for patrolling purposes.Last month Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa distributed 250 cycles to the policemen. These cycles are being utilized in all the police stations in Chennai.
