It’s a circular building , built on 1842 to store ice bars imported from USA by the Tudor Ice company. Vivekananda a great saint, through whom the world got to know of Hindu heritage and Indian Values happen to stay here from February 6 to 15 in 1897, during his visit to Chennai. After Independence the building was named after Vivekananda and now houses books, photographs of the times of Swami Vivekananda. Its located in Triplicane.
