Matriculation schools in the city to resume admission
The School Education Department two months had issued instructions to the Matriculation schools in the city not o issues application forms for admission. In a meeting held with the principals and school heads on Wednesday the department has directed the schools to resume admission.

PRATIBA PATiL TO PARTICIPATE COIMBATORE TAMIL CONFERENCE.
The Chief Minister announced here that President of India Pratiba Patil would be participating in the inauguration World Classical Tamil Conference in Coimbatore. After a conference review meeting the Chief Minister said that had been 7356 registration, 6086 abstract papers had been received and 1500 papers had been selected.

MADRAS HIGH COURT BENCH ORDERS RE OPENING OF CHILD MISSING CASE.
On a habeas corpus petition by B Vijaya from Ramanathapuram, the Madras High Court bench consisting of Justice P Murugesan and Raja Elango ordered the Additional Director General of Police , Crime Branch � CID, Chennai to reopen the Child missing Case , which was closed long ago as undetected.
