SPECIAL INDUSTRIAL PARK FOR JAPANESE FORMS IN CHENNAI

CHENNAI GETS ADDITIONAL CONSUMER PANEL BENCH.
There will be one more Circuit bench in Chennai for speedy disposal of pending cases within 90 days. This is a part of The State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. There about 2800 cases are pending according to official sources... Constititution of this bench is a permanent feature. What is not decided is whether this should function as a branch of SCDRC and infrastructure not yet ready.

TECHKNOW-2010 IN CHENNAI IN APRIL
It was decided in a meeting held in Anna University by the All India Manufacturers Association[AIMO] chaired by P Mannar Jawahar the Vice Chancellor of Ann University that TECHKNOW � 2010 a forum for Engineering students in South India will be held in Chennai during April 2 � 3. It was also decided to reward projects with cash awards of minimum Rs 10000 to Maximum Rs 1 Lakh.

Deadline for completing the Adambakkam Bridge is fixed, it�s expected to be completed by March 2011.Its an important one bridging Velacherry, Adambakkam, Ullagaram and St Thomas Mount. The cost of construction of the is Rs 15.5 Crores. The six lane bridge of 350 meters long.

CAR RALLY FOR THE VISUALLY CHALLENGED
Car Rally for the visually challenged was organized by the National Association of for the Blind in association with Madras Motor Sports Club on Sunday. The rally was a part of Goden Jubilee celebration of the Association. More than 80 person with visually disability participated.

Hercules Roadeos Mountain Biking Challenge was held on Sunday. Out of the 320 Participants Harish Ramkumar won. It was an adventure sport testing rider�s skills, ability to navigate through uncertain terrain with blinders challenging the riders. It I s important that the rider has enjoy the challenge.

KARUNANIDHI�S GESTURE TO DECEASED JOURNALISTS� FAMILIES
The Chief Minister Karunanidhi announced the payment of Rs 3.5 lakhs to each of the family of the journalists C Nagendrapillai who worked with Dinamalar for 23 years and V Jeeva Prabkaran who worked with Dinamani for 19 years , who died when on service from Journalist Family Welfare Fund.
