Liquor outlets plan e-billing from January 2013
Tipplers neednt fear overcharging at the outlets of the Tasmac. TN government-run liquor distributor will introduce electronic billing system for the first time in all its retail shops across the state in January 2013.

CM Jayalalithaa gives Rs 879-crore boost for amenities in city
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has ordered the Chennai Corporation and the Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) to take up development projects worth Rs 879.78 crore to improve amenities and infrastructure in the core and extended areas of the city.
