Non-stop AC Duronto train to run as Shatabdi trains
The Railway Board has approved to convert the non-stop AC Duronto train from Chennai to Coimbatore as a Shatabdi Express and the Duronto service to Thiruvananthapuram as an AC Superfast Express with Rajdhani fares from Friday.

Conversion of express trains list
Train No.12243 / 12244 Chennai Central � Coimbatore � Chennai Central Duronto Express trains will be converted to run as Shatabdi Express trains with effect from 22.11.2013, with commercial stoppages at Salem, Erode and Tirupur.
