State government needs nod from EC for Metro Rail services
Announcement on schemes such as the Metro rail inauguration needs the nod of Election commission and the state government will have to approach the EC for the same.

A new over-bridge at Kathivakkam Road at the cost of Rs. 115 Crores!
Chennai Corporation has planned to build a railway over bridge at the Kathvkkam Road � Manali Road Junction at a cost of Rs. 155 Crores. There are two railway crossings in Kathivakkam Road � Manali Road & Tondiarpet High Road.

Southern Railway is now planning to expedite the integration of the 2 subrban systems � MRTS between Chennai Beach & Velachery and the new Chennai Metro rail.

Wi-Fi� facility at CMBT soon!
�Wi-Fi" facility is set to be introduced shortly at the Koyambedu CMBT bus terminus. More than 2000 buses enter & leave CMBT daily. Buses to other states and other cities/locations of Tamil Nadu are run from CMBT.

Last date for Civil Services Examinations Application: 19th June, 2015!
Applications are being received by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for the Civil services examinations conducted by it for 24 civil cadres including IAS, IPS, & IFS.
