Gold rate increased Rs.56 per sovereign
The cost of gold has increased Rs.56 per sovereign on Tuesday evening (Aug 23, 2016).A sovereign was worth Rs.23872.00 and a gram was Rs.2984.00.The cost of 1 gram of pure gold (24K) is now Rs.3191.00.

Researchers extract Cobalt and Lithium from old batteries
Researchers are trying to make use of naturally available fungi. This is to be used to extract lithium and cobalt by recycling process using waste and disposed batteries. The team leader of the project, Jeffrey A. Cunningham, Ph.D. said that this idea was sourced from a student who made use of the left over.

BSNL plans 300 more 4G towers within March 17
As a move to enable public sector enterprise give 4G mobile services to customers, about 300 new 4G towers will be set up in Chennai city within March 2017. We will step into the 4G space.We will announce tenders to set up these 4G towers in the city.

101-hour marathon by Ironing Guinness in Chennai
This marathon will start on 25th of August and continue for five days. Ironing has so far conducted world record by conducing 100-hour marathon. Now, Mr Daniel Surya from Chennai is set to break his record with his 101-hour marathon run.

Bar coding mandatory for packaged foods
