As per the official of The Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is offering �Companion Travel Free� package for Indian nationals travelling on the Buddhist pilgrimage train, Mahaparinirvan Express.
The package for the Buddhist Circuit Special Train is for journey commencing on March 22, 2014. The all-inclusive price for two people would now be Rs 70,000/- (instead of Rs 1,40,000) for AC First Class and Rs 57,000/- (instead of Rs 1,14,000) for AC 2 Tier Class.
This comprehensive tour package of seven nights/eight days begins and ends at Delhi Safdarjung railway station. The itinerary is Delhi-Gaya (Bodhgaya, Nalanda, Rajgir)-Varanasi (Sarnath)-Gorakhpur (Kushinagar, Lumbini)-Gonda (Sravasti)-Agra-Delhi
The package includes journey by exclusive tourist train, hotel accommodation, road transportation in AC Deluxe buses, all meals, sightseeing, entrance fee, tour guide service, travel insurance, onboard security etc.
