The first Metro train manufactures at Tada, Andhra Pradesh handed over to Metro Rail authorities
The first metro train manufactured at Tada, Andhra Pradesh was officially handed over to the Metro Rail Corporation Director, Mr. Pankajkumar Bansal on Thursday, 27th February.
42 trains with 4 coaches are planned for the Metro rail operations. The coaches are manufacture by the company Alsthom in Brazil. They have exported 5 so far by ship. 4 more are expected by July. The company has opened a plant at Tada in Andhra Pradesh and started manufacturing.
The first train manufacture in Tada was handed over on Thursday. The train was dispatched in 4 trucks and reached Chennai on Friday.
