Black out in Chennai

Chennaites experienced blackout on Tuesday night. While Alandur, Velachery, Otteri, Nammalwarpet went without power due to short-circuits in cables, faulty transformers cut off power in areas like Ice House, Nadukuppam, Ayodhi Kuppam, Kolathur, Ambattur, West Mambalam and Kodambakkam. �These kind of outages are normal during this time of the year due to weather changes,� said a TNEB official
