Tamil Nadu Chief Minister opens sports facility at Sri Ramachandra University

Tamil Nadu Chief minister J Jayalalithaa on Monday inaugurated an Arthroscopy and Sports Sciences Centre at Sri Ramachandra University through videoconferencing. Sports-medicine complex, the first of its kind in India, is expected to be of international standards and help groom sportspersons. The head of the department, Dr Arumugam, said the centre, will treat sports injuries, and nurture fitness, enhance performance and prevent injuries.
