CM J Jayalalithaa to launch chapati and dal in Amma Canteen today

Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister Jayalalithaa will launch the civic body�s scheme to serve chapati and dal for dinner in Amma canteens across the city�s 200 wards from 6pm to 9pm. The government announced last May that dinner would be introduced at the canteens for 3. However, the plan was postponed after a delay in procuring chapati-making machines. �More than 4 lakh chapattis will be served at 200 canteens through 15 centralized kitchens� an official said.
