Mint flyover and MC subway sets free the traffic

Vallalar Nagar residents are now relieved from the annoying traffic at the ever busy, old jail road. On account of the construction of mint flyover, several roads were made one-way; this also includes the old cemetery road. The subway lying on Monegar Choultry (MC) road was constructed long ago, but it wasn’t inaugurated at all. Now, after the delay of over 4 years, MC road subway and mint flyover are opened and the restrictions are got off.
Speaking to one of the share auto drivers in the locality, he shared his views stating, “we can even find the ambulances getting stuck in traffic here, and for the little school kids, it’s a nightmare to cross the busy road. In fact, the roadside shopkeepers who had shops in these places previously are now shifted to several other areas. The road is also not sufficient enough to accommodate such a heavy traffic, and now, the opening of flyover is such a great relief for all of us”.
