40 new tipper-trucks for Chennai Corporation – to remove construction debris

Chennai Corporation budget for 2013-14 includes the funding for purchase of 40 new tippers to replace the old equipment currently in operation.
40 new tipper-trucks have been procured at the cost of Rs. 7 Crores. They were flagged off during the inaugural function presided by the mayor. All senior corporation officials participated.
