Police start poll security survey

Tamil Nadu Police have got into the election mode, starting a survey of sensitive areas and collecting data on past incidents of violence. Policemen will collect data on the number of critical and vulnerable polling stations and suggest measures to prevent untoward incidents. They will also identify communally sensitive districts where more forces need to be deployed ahead of the elections.
