Tamil Nadu to get Amma marundhagams

After ‘amma unavagam’ the Tamil Nadu Government has announced the start of ‘amma marundhagams’ or subsidised medicine shops.
In the Budget for 2014-15 presented today, Finance Minister O. Panneerselvam announced the Government will open 100 more medicine shops under cooperatives, which now operate 210 shops, to sell medicines at reasonable prices.The State Government will allot Rs. 20 crore under the price stabilisation fund.
