Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to inaugurate Mint Fly-over, Subway Today

Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa via video conferencing will throw open to the public the fly-over that connects Old Jail Road and Basin Bridge Road. The Chief Minister would also inaugurate a pedestrian subway along the Monegar Choultry (MC) Road in Old Washermenpet on Wednesday.
The work on the four-lane flyover facility, which was started around two-and-half years ago, has met with several delays owing to design changes made to accommodate the Metro rail work.
The flyover has been constructed at a cost of Rs 23 crore.
