Solar power generation project: TEDA releases the list of vendors

The Solar Energy Equipment Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) has released the list of approved vendors for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister`s roof solar subsidy program.
The government has taken several measures for power generation utilsing unconventional energy sources such as solar power and wind power. Solar power generation policy has been released and the roof solar power is a part.
The central government will provide 30 per cent subsidy for 1 kilowatt solar power. In addition to this, the State Government will provide a 20 percent subsidy.
Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency has released the list of equipment vendors in the internet for this scheme.
The names, addresses and phone numbers of these vendors have been furnished. (www.teda.in)
1 kW, 2 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW equipment wil carry five-year warranty and a five-year maintenance.
