66 initiatives on Jayalalithaa’s birthday

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s birthday will become 66 years on 24th February. On occasion of this various events are being organized. , families living in independent houses in the city will get free coconut tree saplings from the Chennai Corporation. The theme for the birthday this year is 66, and so the Chennai Corporation has decided to distribute 66,000 saplings to houses with a spacious backyard.
The coconut trees will be around two-and-a-half to three feet high. Mayor Saidai S. Duraisamy announced this as part of 66 initiatives for Jayalalithaa’s birthday such as sports competitions, rainwater harvesting, cash deposits in the name of girl children born on February 24 in 2012, 2013 and 2014, health check-ups, and blood donation camps.
