Diesel price hiked by 50 paise

Diesel price was on Friday hiked by 50 paise per litre but there will be no change in petrol rates .
The hike, effective midnight Friday, is excluding local sales tax or VAT. The actual increase will be higher and will vary from city to city.
In Chennai diesel price hiked by 61 paise per litre and a litre to cost Rs.58.56.
