Tamil Nadu’s Job Portal

The Tamil Nadu government will soon launch a State Portal on Employment. This will act as an integrated platform for job seekers and employers.
Official sources said a separate section would be opened for this portal in all employment exchanges and this would help selecting the skilled youth for employment at private firms.
Announcing this in the State Assembly, the Governor said the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Mission was launched to deal with the challenges of building the skill levels of the youth to make them employable.
“The portal offers a single window of information on job counselling, training and placement facilitation,” the Governor said, and added that the State would also seek funding and technical support for the State Skill Development Mission from international funding agencies.
