Science and Technology Expo-2014 is being organized by Sriram Engineering College at Perumalpattu on January 30 and 31. According to the principal, Dr G Nalankilli, the two-day event will feature several competitions for students in these fields as well.
As many as 5,000 students from schools, polytechnic institutes and engineering colleges from Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts will participate, he said. Students can present models based on physics principles, renewable resources eco friendly ideas like organic farming.
It will provide an opportunity for young scientists to exhibit their innovative ideas. Jayaprakash A Gandhi, a career consultant and analyst of Turning Point of India, will be the chief guest and will conduct a session on career opportunities. For details, contact 9444148836 or 9442107588.
