Tight security arrangements at Chennai Airport

As the republic day is approaching, a five security blanket has been thrown at the airport and the entry of visitors has already been banned till January 31, airport authorities have announced. The security arrangements being made to prevent any untoward incidents at the airport also include placing of sandbags at the entrances to the domestic and international terminals as well as a few other entry points.
