Rs.6.86 Crores for Completion of Multispecialty Hospital

In order to serve all grades of people with advanced medical facilities, the TamilNadu government has planned for the construction of high Multispecialty hospital and look for a place in Omandur Government Farm in Anna Salai. To modify this old building for the purpose of the high grade treatment center, Rs.26 Crores and 93 lakh was allotted. For wood work, Rs. 76 Crores and 4 lakh fund was deliberated by Chief Minister Jayalalitha.
Even though the work was yet to complete, the opening ceremony of the Multispecialty hospital was conducted during March, 2010. Before finishing the tower, a temporary tower like structure was framed and placed in the position. Presently, to complete to tower work with various facility for getting sunrays and free air flow, Jayalalitha has declared a fund of Rs. 6 Crores and 86 Lakh. This fund involves the construction of the international auditorium and advanced infrastructure.
Since people are highly infected by mosquitoes, necessary steps are taken from the government to go in person to the houses to spray the mosquito sprays and smokes to control the levels of mosquitoes. Fund of about 2 Crores are allotted by J.Jayalalitha for this prevention.
